Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

Location: Cardiff

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse needs? Team Educate are currently seeking an empathetic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of the SEN schools we work with in Cardiff and the Vale.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with a range of emotional and physical disabilities, including but not limited to:
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Dyslexia
  • Physical disabilities
  • Speech and language impairments
  • Your role will be to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social and emotional development of students.

Requirements:

-Previous experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, particularly those with emotional and physical disabilities.

-Knowledge of effective strategies for supporting students with diverse needs.

-Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30

Pay Range:

£80-£84 per day
