SEMH Teaching Assistant required in Bristol

We are looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant who is available to work closely with children with social, emotional and mental health in an SEND setting, to provide the best support possible and a high quality of education for the individuals. The position will be across the KS3 and KS4 year groups, helping teachers with their in-class teaching but also running small group work outside of the classroom working on a 1:1 and 2:1 basis.

We are looking for an experienced or budding SEMH Teaching Assistant who has a passion for working with children and is looking to secure their next role within a special school. This will be working 8.30 – 3.15 Monday – Friday. This would be initially until December 2024 but with the option to continue.

As a Teaching Assistant, you require:

  • An enhanced Child Workforce DBS (desirable, but not essential)
  • 2 years of professional references
  • Hold right to work in the UK
